Prior to entering private practice as a Washington DC area cosmetic dentist, Dr. Norkiewicz had the benefit of an exceptional educational and training background. Dr. Norkiewicz received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Maryland. His advanced post-graduate studies included a 1-year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency program where he trained under the Army's top specialists in all fields of dentistry, focusing on Full Mouth Reconstructions (Smile Makeovers), Anterior (frontal) Aesthetics, Complex Occlusion, and Neuromuscular Dentistry.
Currently, Dr. Norkiewicz continues to pursue ongoing education and training in order to stay abreast of the latest techniques in the field.

Dr. Norkiewicz has been a member of the Academy of General Dentistry for 7 years and has completed over 700 hours of continuing education. Dr. Norkiewicz believes strongly that continuing education is necessary in enabling him to offer his patients the best possible care, utilizing the latest materials and equipment.
In July 2005, Dr. Norkiewicz received the Fellowship Degree from the Academy of General Dentistry for his outstanding clinical contributions to the profession.
